Senior Fullstack Developer (Angular/Python)

Gorilla Logic is looking for a senior fullstack developer, who will work with a team of engineers developing our client’s system. This is a unique and highly technical role, requiring strong development experience in delivering leading-edge solutions. Responsibilities

Fullstack developer specializing in backend developmentImplement the core functionality that our users see and interact with dailyWorks on the engineering team responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the client application platform.Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and technical product owners to write, test, and deploy your code safely to productionParticipate in a strong culture of ownership, pragmatism, testing, teaching, and learningWork closely with Product, Design, Platform Services, and Release Management teams to contribute to our application roadmapSolid understanding of Agile software development concepts and processesWork with DevOps and QA to build a quality focused CI/CD pipelineProficient English and communications skills required

Technical Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.5+ years of backend experience with Python/Django.3+ years of experience with Angular and state management libraries such as NgRX.5+ years of experience with modern JavaScript such as ES6, ES7 and Typescript.Use Python/Django to create REST based microservices.Deploy application components to the AWS cloud.Experience monitoring and debugging production systems.Experience developing from a well-defined design system but comfortable enough to work with rough wireframes and mockups for prototyping.Solid understanding of building images/container and deploying them via modern container orchestration frameworks such as ECS, EKS/AKS/GKE, or similar.Professional development experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.Ability to easily adapt, learn new things, and apply new technologies.

Bonus Skills

Familiarity with modern architectural modalities such as microservices, serverless, JAMstack, event-based, pub/sub, and data streaming.Container experience with Docker/Kubernetes.Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.Demonstrated experience with bringing multiple products to market.
