Back End Developer

Wolkk is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality backend applications using Spring Boot, Java, and Kotlin. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge FinTech projects, including the SAP Fioneer Digital Bank, and contribute to mentoring junior developers, driving technical excellence, and ensuring the delivery of reliable, scalable services.

Key Responsibilities:Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend services using Spring Boot, Java, and Kotlin.API Implementation: Implement RESTful APIs, database schemas, and other backend functionalities to meet application requirements.Version Control: Utilize Git for version control, ensuring organized development processes.Database Management: Manage PostgreSQL and Redis databases.Agile Collaboration: Participate in agile development processes, working closely with cross-functional teams.FinTech Expertise: Contribute to FinTech solutions for SAP Fioneer Digital Bank.On-Call Support: Be available for on-call support outside office hours to ensure system reliability.Team Leadership: Plan, estimate, and assign work to team members, while mentoring junior developers and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:Strong proficiency in Spring Boot, Java, and Kotlin for backend development.Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis database management.Experience with Git for version control.Strong understanding of RESTful API development.Knowledge of MS Office 365 tools.Experience in Agile methodologies.Previous experience in FinTech is a plus.Proven ability to plan, estimate, and assign work effectively.Experience mentoring junior developers.English Proficiency: B2 level or higher.
