Position: Node.js Developer (Independent Contractor)

Location: Remote (India)

Company: Parallel Teams Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development: Design and maintain scalable applications using Node.js.

• API Development: Create and manage RESTful APIs, integrate third-party services.

• Database Management: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Performance Optimization: Enhance application performance and scalability.

• Security Best Practices: Implement and maintain security measures.

• Code Quality: Write clean code, conduct reviews, and mentor junior developers.

• Collaboration: Work with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in Node.js development.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Node.js frameworks (e.g., Express.js).

• Extensive experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Proven API design and management skills.

• Proficiency with Git and testing frameworks (e.g., Mocha, Chai).

• Knowledge of security best practices and cloud platforms (Docker, AWS).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (React.js, Angular).

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
