Grails / Spring Boot Software Developer for a Sustainability SaaS

We are looking for an experienced Grails / Spring Boot Software Developer to join our fast-growing team.

One Click LCA offers an innovative carbon accounting and reduction SaaS platform that is used in over 170 countries and is growing rapidly. We target construction and manufacturing industries, responsible for nearly half of the global carbon emissions. It integrates with all the leading design software packages and all environmental databases in the industry and provides over 60 modules for low-carbon design and carbon transparency.You will join a supportive, effective, and mission-oriented team in a flexible, friendly and international work environment and have a great deal of autonomy in your role.

This full-time, permanent position is available for candidates based in our Helsinki office in Finland (preferred) or remotely.

What you will do:Develop the SaaS platform as part of the cross-functional team to develop new features and servicesWrite clean maintainable code and design implementation approach together with colleaguesAs a team, you own what you build, which means that you take care of the smooth operations of the product from start to productionInvestigate and solve technical problemsAct as an example and mentor for less experienced colleagues sharing best practices and ways of working as a developer

What you need:Several years of experience in developing professional projects or solutionsSolid experience with Java/Spring Boot, ideally also with Groovy/GrailsProficiency with MongoDBStrong understanding of writing efficient, high-quality, and scalable code, including refactoring to improve resilience and reduce errorsExperience in designing and developing REST APIsProficiency in unit testing and documentationExperience with Docker and container-based CI/CDExperience with AWS is a plusAbility to work independently and take responsibilityWillingness to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
