We are seeking a skilled JavaScript Developer with experience in Node.js, React.js, and Next.js to join our team on a 3 to 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project success.

Job Description

As a JavaScript Developer, you will be instrumental in the development and enhancement of our SEO-focused SaaS products. Your expertise in Node.js, React.js, and Next.js will be critical in building responsive, efficient, and scalable web applications.This is a fully remote position, and candidates must have the right to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize SEO-focused SaaS applications using JavaScript, with a focus on Node.js, React.js, and Next.js.Collaborate with executives and project leaders to implement new features and improve existing ones.Ensure applications are optimized for accuracy, performance, speed, scalability, and security.Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to enhance the reliability of the platform.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in web development, particularly those related to SEO.

Requirements:Proven experience as a JavaScript Developer with expertise in Node.js, React.js, and Next.js.Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience in building and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js.Proficiency in React.js for creating dynamic, SEO-optimized user interfaces.Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation, with a focus on SEO best practices.Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.Proficient with version control systems like Git.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.Excellent communication skills and experience working in a remote environment.Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Nice-to-Have:Experience with TypeScript.Understanding of SEO principles and experience with SEO tools or platforms.Experience with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
