Due to growth and expansion, an opportunity has become available for an experienced C# Backend Engineer keen on building and delivering high-quality applications.
Please take note: This is a fixed-term contract opportunity for 6 months with a possibility to extend.
Responsibilities and Core Duties:Write clean, efficient, and scalable C# code and algorithms, following coding standards and best practices.Identifying and addressing technical risks, proposing solutions.Working in a dynamic Agile/Scrum development environment.Maintaining regular communication and close teamwork with colleagues during development, this includes Collaboration with the front-end development team.Using SQL and database optimization methods for efficient data management and retrieval.Develop automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).Working with globally distributed and multi-disciplinary teams
Required Skills & Experience:5+ years experience in hands-on backend web developmentProficient knowledge of C# and an in-depth understanding of web developmentExperience in writing highly secure web applicationsExperience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft AzureExperience with authentication methods such as SAML, SSO, and OpenIDFamiliarity with architecture styles/APIs (Minimal APIs, REST, RPC)Understanding of Agile methodologiesExcellent troubleshooting and communication skillsAttention to detailKnowledge of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, React, and Contentful would be advantageous
