Job DescriptionThe Retail SQL Solution Developer plays a crucial role in the development of advanced recovery audit solutions for FlexTecs' clientele, including some of the world's largest retailers. This role involves working closely with auditors, client representatives, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery of audit data and tools to support FlexTecs' audit teams.Key Responsibilities:1. Solution Development:o Collaborate with auditors, client resources, and stakeholders to understand business processes, systems, and data.o Develop approaches to identify exceptions and potential lost profits in recovery audits.o Support the development of audit data and tools, ensuring adherence to high standards of software quality.o Determine optimal solutions for various recovery audit concepts across the international portfolio of clients.o Identify areas for improving efficiency and automation, exploring how different tools and technologies can introduce further benefits.

2. Technology Expertise:o Stay updated on market trends and emerging technologies relevant to recovery audit solutions.o Assess and introduce new technologies into the audit development process, encouraging continuous learning and skill development among team members. 3. Collaboration and Communication:o Collaborate effectively with other solution architects, development team, auditors, and clients to plan, design, and develop recovery audit software solutions.o Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior operations colleagues 4. Project Management and Planning:o Assist in creating project estimates and work plans, contributing to the efficient utilization of resources.o Analyze opportunities for application and process improvement, documenting and sharing insights with team members and stakeholders.o Prepare reports and documentation on project status and progress as needed. 5. Quality Assurance and Support:o Uphold high standards of software quality within the team, establishing best practices and ensuring adherence to high-quality development principles.o Provide support to business users and assist in resolving technical and application problems.o Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.

Reporting Line: The Retail SQL Solution Developer reports directly to the Solution Architect ManagerThis role requires a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong technical expertise and a passion for innovation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and collaboration abilities, along with a demonstrated track record of successfully contributing to the development and delivery of complex software solutions. Qualifications· 3+ Years working with SQL Server performing complex data analysis and developing T-SQL stored procedures· Solid understanding of database design· Experience working with datasets across disparate systems · Ability to troubleshoot query performance issues· Ability to solve complex problems· Ability to work with minimal supervision· Strong communication skills· College degree in technical area such as computer science/engineering or equivalent work experiencePreferred Skills· Experience with Recovery Audit or related field such as fraud detection or data analytics· Advanced query performance tuning
