About the role:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to support an upcoming project. The successful candidate(s) should possess the core duties of Mid-leveled ServiceNow developer, encompassing various aspects of development, security, collaboration, reporting, and documentation within the ServiceNow environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the development and maintenance of scoped applications within ServiceNow, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. • Utilize scripting languages such as JavaScript and GlideScript to enhance the functionality and user experience of ServiceNow scope applications. • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications effectively by leveraging ServiceNow APIs (REST, SOAP, and JSON) to ensure seamless data exchange and functionality. • Customize the ServiceNow User Interface (UI) using UI policies, UI actions, and client scripts to optimize user experience. • Configure workflows using Flow Designer to automate business processes and streamline workflows within ServiceNow applications. • Design efficient data structures for scoped applications within ServiceNow by understanding data modeling concepts such as tables, fields, relationships, and database views. • Define and manage Access Control Lists (ACLs) within ServiceNow applications to control access to data and functionality, ensuring security and compliance. • Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and external systems, leveraging MID Server and Integration Hub to ensure seamless data flow. • Identify and resolve issues within scoped applications by applying strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, including error handling, logging, and debugging techniques within the ServiceNow environment. • Design and develop reports and dashboards within ServiceNow using OOTB reporting tools and Performance Analytics to provide insights into key metrics. • Work closely with Scrum Masters, business stakeholders, and IT teams to gather requirements and address ongoing business needs for ServiceNow configuration, implementation, and support. • Implement and maintain data security measures within ServiceNow applications, including encryption data masking to safeguard sensitive information. • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ServiceNow applications, configurations, and customizations, including technical specifications, user guides, process documentation.

Qualifications: • Must have a minimum of 5+years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development. • Must be proficient in creating and managing scoped applications within the ServiceNow platform. • Must have demonstrated experience working within Agile development framework. • Must have familiarity with data integration methodologies and tools, demonstrating the ability to integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications effectively. • Must be proficient in JavaScript.
