Flutter Developer (Remote)

Work Authorization

Responsibilities

Design & implement new app modules based on the product requirements using Flutter frameworkMaintain existing codebasesBuild reusable code and libraries for future useIntegrate user-interfaces elements developed by other developersBuild user interfaces designed by UI/UX designersIntegration of data storage solutionsIntegrate various APIs from third partiesDebug existing apps components, fix issues and avoid regressionsCollaborate closely with the teams of UI/UX designers, PMs, QAs, and other developersParticipate in software architecture, design discussions and code reviewsOptimize application for maximum speed and scalability

Required Qualifications

Proficient understanding of Flutter framework, Dart programming, and experience with Flutter state management solutions with 1+ years of hands-on experience in cross platform app development.Proficiency with RESTful APIs, third-party services, and handling asynchronous data.Experience with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (AppSync /socket.io/ AWS Cognito, Google Firebase platform) is preferred.Familiarity with native Android (Java/Kotlin) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C) development is a plus.Good understanding on how to implement security flags into mobile apps & Proficient understanding of the most popular SDKs used within mobile apps.Experience on image optimization, proper session management, CDN usage, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.Understanding of Apple’s and Android’s design principles and interface guidelines and knowledge of latest design patterns like MVVM/MVP.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $68,422K – $131,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
