Position Summary:We are looking for a proficient Android Developer to join our mobile development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android fundamentals and be capable of building high-quality, performant applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative mobile applications.
Principal Responsibilities:Develop, test, and deploy Android applications using Java/Kotlin, following industry best practicesCollaborate with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing mobile interfacesIntegrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionalityWrite clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applicationsParticipate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the teamDebug and troubleshoot issues in production and development environmentsStay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologiesContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologiesWork closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to ensure project goals are met
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience3+ years of experience in Android development, with a strong portfolio of published applicationsProficiency in Java and Kotlin, with a solid understanding of Android SDK, frameworks, and librariesExperience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems like GitStrong understanding of core Android components such as Activities, Fragments, Services, and Broadcast ReceiversFamiliarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and third-party libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, and GlideExperience with modern Android architectures, including MVVM, MVP, or Clean ArchitectureKnowledge of mobile app testing tools and techniques, including unit testing and UI testingExperience with CI/CD pipelines and Google Play Store release processes is a plus

Pay:$70 - $75 / hr
Schedule:Monday - Friday8:00 am - 5:00 pm (flexible)
