Client notes:-Client has concerns over current resource we placed earlier this year working out and wants to begin to identify a replacement. This person will be the sole AEM resource in place so they will be leaning on them heavily for their expertise and ability to manage the work. -Need someone with excellent consulting skills, communication, ability to explain and show work to other teams, both technical and non-technical. Project DetailsAs an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Lead Developer your responsibility will be to work with our software development team on critical activities to support deployment of applications to various environments and participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle and support applications developed for our clients. DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES•Full lifecycle application development using standard frameworks and coding standards/patterns•Coding, unit testing and debugging applications in various software languages•Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation•Document software code and ensure that technical documentation i.e. configuration guides, install guides meet requirements•Integrate software with existing systems•Maintain standards compliance•Work closely with senior developers and software engineers to gain additional knowledge and expertise.•Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues such as code quality, and security issues related to the code/configuration.•Knowledge of AEM Component Development and Web Technologies like HTML, JS, CSS, XML, REST, JSON.•A solid understanding of Adobe building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, and the deployment process.•Excellent technical knowledge of JavaScript frameworks - Angular/React/Vue.js.- Knowledge of Adobe Launch, Campaign and Target.•UI Design experience.•Collaborate with product management, marketing, and web development team to implement reusable components & templates that meet standards and business needs.•Evaluates business requirements to determine most appropriate technical architecture and design patterns.•Create and maintain web application architectural documentation and standards. • Provides suggestions to improve quality and comply with architectural, design and coding standards and best practices.•Provides technical support and troubleshoots applications issues and bugs. REQUIREMENTS•3+ years of experience using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.•3+ years of large-scale distributed web application development in a team environment. •Experience in RESTful web services.•Experience with the development methodologies (Agile SCRUM) and tools such as Atlassian Jira.•Experience with GIT or other Source Code Management tools. • Training and assisting users on Adobe Custom Components UI.•Experience with Single Page Applications (SPA) in AEM is a plus.•Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field with equivalent relevant experience.
