Job DescriptionAs our Website Developer you'll be working as part of our design team concentrating primarily on the technical/functionality components of the production. The majority of your work will consist of keeping our hosted Word Press websites software up-to-date. This includes managing the day to day issues which are associated with updating Word Press, theme and associated plug-ins used on all our websites.
You will also be required to manage our hosting servers. We use the software Infinite WP and Malcare to manage and to keep us notified when a website has gone down.
Your position will also require you to problem solve and research Word Press plug-ins to find solutions to our clients needs. You will be required to keep yourself up-to-date with the developments within our industry in order to best provide our clients with suitable solutions, being proactive is paramount to our success.

Personal Qualities:A positive and friendly attitude with a strong can do work ethic.Are self motivated and a self starter, organised and able to work well within a team and autonomously.Essential Technical Requirements:Minimum 4+ years industry experience.Experience with WHM, Cpanel, SSH and Cloud hosting management. Skills in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, JQuery, Javascript and MySQL. Advanced knowledge of WordPress, themes and plugins, as well as page builders such as Elementor. WordPress experience building custom templates, themes and integrations. Gravity Forms Hooks and custom post types (ACF) knowledge. Experience with Woo-commerce payment gateway. Strong understanding of cross-browser/device compatibility issues. Have a good technical understanding of what makes a website perform well for SEO purposes, security, and page loading speed. Domain Management skills - DNS, Delegation etc. Proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud Applications (photoshop, illustrator and XD). POP3, IMAP and Exchange email service knowledge.
