ETL Developer

Job Title: ETL DeveloperLocation: Work from Home (WFH)Experience: 8+ yearsWork Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM

Job Description:As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines to support data warehousing solutions. Your role will involve working with a variety of tools and technologies to ensure efficient, reliable, and accurate data integration. You will collaborate with business analysts and project teams to understand requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain ETL pipelines for data warehousing using ETL tools (e.g., Redpoint/BPA), SQL Server, and Snowflake.Analyze, design, build, test, and implement integration technology solutions.Write SQL queries against MS SQL and Snowflake databases.Provide production support for data warehouse issues, including data load and transformation problems.Ensure accurate and timely data availability to meet business SLAs.Document ETL and data warehouse processes, and create technical design documents and code.Develop automated data audit and validation processes.Work closely with business analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions.Support production data loads and ongoing refreshes of database systems.Define, prepare, execute, and implement data validation methods.

Skills Required:Adaptability and a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, Microsoft SSIS.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL.Knowledge of data warehousing technologies like Google BigQuery, and Snowflake.Attention to detail and precision in ETL development.Project management skills.Experience with performance tuning of ETL processes and database queries.

Preferred Qualifications:Programming languages: Python, Oracle, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, Power Shell.BI Tools: Power BI, Tableau.SAP and R modeling.
