Responsibilities:

Build relationships with key business, product, and engineering partners, align company and org vision with technical roadmaps and deconstruct and translate complex, ambiguous business problems into prioritized, outcome-based data and analytics initiatives.Ideate, develop, and launch high quality, self-service data and analytics products and experiences that accelerate business-critical decision making.Act as an advocate and subject matter expert for customer business and data consuming teams to define and drive improvement and maturity of data and analytics strategies and roadmaps.Provide thought leadership and collaboration with engineering partners to develop sustainable cross functional data architectures and processes throughout the data lifecycle.Stay current on industry and technology trends to identify and champion new approaches and innovation and continuously improve the quality, accessibility, and scalability of customer data platforms and products.Provide mentorship and support to team members and colleagues and promote collaboration, growth, and adoption of best practices.

Qualifications:

5+ years' experience working in data engineering, analytics, business intelligence, data infrastructure or equivalentDeep experience in ETL development, performance tuning, and query optimizationAbility to design, architect and implement high quality, standards-based data pipelines, dimensional data models, and analytical data products and platforms.Experience with data processing frameworks and tools such as Redshift, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and KafkaExperience with DBT, data pipeline development using open-source technologies/PythonExperience with Airflow and Github dev/CICD processes. Databricks and Redshift are main data platforms, so candidate need experience using Spark/Parquet/S3 data lakesExcellent SQL skills with experience building data warehouses in a production environmentSelf-driven, highly motivated and able to learn quickly.
