Software Developer – Azure DevOps

Summary:We seek an experienced and enthusiastic DevOps Engineer Consultant for a contract position on our software team. AB&R is looking for a candidate with strong experience in Infrastructure as Code, CICD, Azure cloud configuration management, and knowledge of automated build pipeline testing and delivery. Our ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented team player that can support developers, testers, and to easily discuss complex Azure operations with corporate customers. The position requires a strong understanding of Azure cloud configuration, automation technology, build management, and delivery methods. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with developers, testers, managers, and other stakeholders on a team responsible for extending and enhancing our existing suite of system application services. Our focus is on the development of new software system capabilities is both exciting and challenging. This is a significant and highly visible role with our company. Experience with Microsoft IoT, RabbitMQ, or Azure deployment services are a plus. Expectations:· Strong knowledge on Azure architectures and configurations – including ARM, Bicep, Terraform.· Deep knowledge of integrating Azure DevOps build pipelines and delivery to Azure Cloud services.· Experience debugging Azure cloud deployments, configurations, and setting resources.· Knowledgeable of Azure Data Services, sizing repositories, and administration· Experienced Azure Administrator - configuring, updating, and operating Azure Cloud environment – with Runbooks.· Azure/Microsoft certifications (Architect level a plus).· Good working experience on Azure administration, Azure Directory Services, and Azure Security.· Understanding of configuration of RabbitMQ (MQTT/AMQP) with Azure Edge Services.· Good to have - any Azure monitoring tools, pipeline management & automation, and Azure operations.· Interpersonal communications skills, to interface with customers, team, peers, and management. Job Qualifications· 5+ years of DevOps experience with Azure cloud services, architecture, delivery automation. · 3+ years Azure Devops Build & Delivery, Bicep, Terraform.· Plus – experience with RabbitMQ.· Be a self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.· Must be able to mentor programmers and testers with Azure standards – to help ensure successful delivery.· Experience & training in Azure, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes are big pluses.Education· Bachelor’s degree from a recognized program or technical knowledge and equivalent work experience.
