The IT company Andersen invites an experienced .NET Developer to work on a large-scale project for one of our European customers. The customer is the leading GameTech company in Greece and one of the fastest-growing in Europe. Founded in 2012, the company specializes in providing online gaming services. The company is actively expanding its presence in international markets, including Europe, Latin America, Africa, and North America. The project is the migration of an existing application from an older .NET framework to a newer version. Responsibilities: - Evaluating the existing .NET Framework application to identify dependencies, third-party libraries, and platform-specific code. - Developing a detailed migration plan, including timelines, milestones, and risk assessments. - Converting project files from the .NET Framework format to the .NET Core format. - Ensuring all necessary configurations and settings are correctly applied. - Updating NuGet packages and third-party libraries to versions compatible with .NET Core 8.0. - Resolving any compatibility issues with external dependencies. Must-haves: - Experience as .NET Developer for 4+ years. - Strong understanding of both .NET Framework and .NET Core architecture, including their differences and similarities. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. - Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above. Nice-to-haves: - Previous experience in migrating applications from .NET Framework to .NET Core. - Experience with NuGet packages creation.
