About RoadsrRoadsr is developing a technology that helps prevent road accidents, reduce costly repairs, andminimize fleet vehicle downtime. It installs on existing fleet vehicles and uses all-weathersensors that work day or night to alert drivers to immediate hazards, or to safely slow the vehicledown when necessary to avoid a collision.

Using a mobile app, drivers are alerted to imminent collisions and then coached howto improve their driving behavior in real time. Fleet managers on the other hand can track the location of thevehicle equipped with Roadsr’s technology, receive notifications on their drivers’ driving collisionalerts, and review incident footage. ResponsibilitiesDevelop a mobile application with a graphical user interface.Interface mobile app with web portal.Interface mobile app with an electronic device (video feed).Interface mobile app with mobile device sensors (speaker, GPS sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass).Develop a web-based application that interfaces with the mobile app.Work under the direction of the CTO on the development, testing, and integration.

QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science2+ years' experience in a related areaAdvanced experience in developing Android applications and web-based applicationsExperience or knowledge of Java (or equivalent app development languages)Experience in designing User Interfaces.Experience in working with mobile hardware interfaces.Knowledge of data encryption.Knowledge of data transmission protocols, and interfacing applications with web portals.Preferred experience in data analytics, Over-The-Air updates, and user license verification.
