Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Software EngineerLocation: Remote | Rare travel to HertfordshireSalary: £50,000 - £65,000

Xpertise Recruitment are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join a market-leading organisation in the 'tech for good' space to help modernise their core applications. This role focuses on enhancing a customer-facing web application through innovative technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and support complex production changes.Collaborate with engineering leadership to drive technical innovation.Improve engineering efficiency and processes.Mentor and coach junior engineers.

Desirable Skills:4+ years of software engineering experience.Proficiency in in C#, .NET core, Entity Framework, and SQL.Excellent experience working in .Net environments.Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.Skilled in Git source control and RESTful API design.Strong understanding of software engineering principles and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have:Understanding of WinForms development.Knowledge of software architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and cross-platform engineering.Lead experience or a strong desire to move in that direction.
