Senior PHP Developer

We're pleased to be working with a growing SaaS company, based in Exeter. They are looking for a Senior PHP Developer to join their Development team. The main focus of the role will be on improving existing functionality within the product admin dashboard and backend as well as developing new features of their product. You will need to be comfortable with large scale refactoring of existing code and not be dependent on any specific PHP framework. Attention to detail, the ability to contribute and communicate ideas with a drive to create elegant, effective solutions is essential. Experience of deploying and migrating existing codebases to AWS is highly desirable.

The role can be hybrid/remote with visits to office required once every three months (hotel/travel expenses will be covered). Please note, they can not offer visa sponsorship.

About you:- Excellent working knowledge of PHP- Experience in deploying/migrating codebases to AWS- PHP frameworks such as Yii, Laravel or Symfony- MySQL- designing performant database schema- Docker/Webpack/Git

Desirables:- Have previously worked as part of a SaaS and or product development team- Node.js- Firebase- Frontend experience, including JS frameworks such as Vue/Angular
