Kubernetes System Developer

As a Kubernetes System Developer, you will design and implement Kubernetes operators, manage application images, and enhance observability features. You will work on developing unit tests for operators and APIs, and perform sysadmin tasks to support the global team.

Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Kubernetes operators for multiple services and integrations.Update and manage base images and scaffolding for various applications.Implement and conduct unit testing for operators and APIs to ensure robustness and reliability.Develop and integrate observability features using tools such as Splunk and Prometheus.Perform system administration tasks as needed to assist the global team in day-to-day operations.Document support requests, and create and maintain documentation and troubleshooting guides. Required Skills/ExpertiseExtensive experience in Kubernetes system development.Proficiency in Docker containerization and management.Working knowledge of Helm charts for managing Kubernetes applications.Experience in building Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and using KubeBuilder.Strong development skills in GoLang, especially in the context of Kubernetes.
