Senior Looker Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Looker Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Looker Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining advanced analytics and reporting solutions using Looker. Your expertise will be vital in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Role: Senior Looker EngineerEmployment Type: Full-Time (FTE)Work Location: Remote (Work From Home)Working Hours: 2 PM to 11 PM IST

Key Responsibilities:Looker Development: Lead the development of Looker dashboards, reports, and data models that meet business requirements.SQL Expertise: Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Looker.Cloud Integration: Work with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud [BigQuery], AWS, GCP, Azure) to integrate data and optimize performance within Looker.Data Management: Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability in Looker reports.Optimization: Continuously improve the performance of Looker dashboards and data models.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Engineering, and Product Management, to gather requirements and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices for Looker development and data modeling.

Required Skill Sets:Expertise in Looker: Proficient in LookML modeling, dashboard creation, and performance optimization.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Version Control & Agile: Experience with version control (Git) and Agile development methodologies.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: Looker certifications or relevant cloud platform certifications.Experience with ETL Tools: Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
