Role - Teradata DeveloperLocation - Remote ( Anywhere in USA)

Job Description:• Strong Teradata SQL• Strong RDBMS Concepts• Strong Data Warehousing Concepts• Strong ETL knowledge• Working knowledge with Unix/Linux environment• Scheduling Tools• Retail Domain Knowledge• R Programming (Nice to have)• Most of the work would be in Teradata, so strong Teradata SQL knowledge will be a good fit.• Also, afternoon shift is preferred to support the current offshore team and have few hours overlap with onshore• Strong Data warehousing experience with processing large data volumes.• Hands on Design/Development of Teradata platform is a must – Data modelling, Designing Tables, PIs, Partitions• Strong SQL knowledge and working experience in Teradata Stored Procedures/BTEQ scripts.• Proficiency in TD load and export utilities like TPT, TPT/MLOAD/TPUMP/BTEQ/FAST EXPORT, Multi load, Schedulers etc.• Experience in Performance Tuning - query tuning and insights on Impact CPU, Skewness etc.
