About You Stay open to learn and be a great team player with good communication skills (not a super star),Be a lifelong learner and take responsibility,Able to analyze and implement solutions to presented problems while satisfying the user’s needs,Write code that is maintainable and highly reliable,Have strong problem-solving skills,Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize work as necessary,Enjoy collaboration with a team to successfully complete projects,Working with cross functional teams,Experience in a startup is a plus.

What You Bring At least 3 years of experience in developing native Android applications,You speak Kotlin as your mother tongue, experience working with Java is a plus,Interest in evolving a large codebase over time to keep up with the relevant changes in the Android Architecture Components (ViewModel, Flow, LiveData, Room, Paging, Data Binding),Proven knowledge in reactive programming (Coroutine, RxJava),Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Hilt),Familiarity with Jetpack Compose is a plus,Good to have experience with integration of third-party advertisement, analytics or privacy SDKs,Understanding of CI/CD tools,Good knowledge in UI/UX patterns and Material Design components and approaches,Interested in new mobile development trends, approaches, libraries and frameworks,Be a good communicator willing to collaborate with people across departments.

What You’ll Be Doing Work in a cross-functional team with product, UI/UX designers and QA,Take ownership of tasks, build credibility through high-quality execution and share learnings to develop more junior team members,Effectively communicate your coding solutions and articulate the reasons for your decisions,Ability to diagnose and tackle mobile performance issues,Contribute to the culture of ownership that reinforces the core values of arabam.com.
