Senior Kotlin Developer

Senior Kotlin DeveloperLocation: Colombia - remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Kotlin Developer with expertise in Kotlin, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for building and optimizing scalable backend services for our client's platform (US based Startup).

Responsibilities:Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot.Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices.Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate APIs and backend functionalities.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:4+ years of experience as a Kotlin Developer or in a similar role.Strong expertise in Kotlin, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and gRPC.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Additional Information:This is a contractor position with a fully remote work environment.Monthly payment in USD.14 PTO days per year.
