Position: Sr. BI DeveloperLocation: Canada – Remote

Required Skills: 1. Tableau 2. Power BI 3. Tableau to Power BI report migration experience

Job Responsibilities: 1. Strong hands-on experience in Tableau development 2. Hands-on experience in Power BI development 3. Strong hands-on experience in Tableau to Power BI report migration 4. In-depth understanding of migration challenges and mitigations 5. 5+ years of experience in Tableau /Power BI 6. Report creation for preparation of dashboards (via Tableau Desktop & Tableau Server & Power BI Desktop/Power BI Server) 7. Set up the permissions structure to work with site roles to make up a user’s access to the site and its content. 8. Configure security setting /updates for any tableau/Power BI upgrades. 9. Add sites and edit site settings/groups. 10. Create projects, move content from one project to another, assign permissions, change ownership of a content resource. 11. Manage Data source connectivity from Desktop/Server (ex: data Lake; Oracle Db) 12. Maintain storage space limits for content published by users. 13. Troubleshoot problems with Tableau/Power BI Server and provide quick resolution. 14. Administer content: Create projects, move content from one project to another, assign permissions, change ownership of a content resource, and so on. 15. View, manage, and manually run schedules for extract refreshes and subscriptions. 16. Add and manage site users/groups and additional advanced dashboard interactivity. 17. 3+ years of SQL/Oracle/Non structured database experience
