Java Developer (€40K-€45K)

One of the companies with which we collaborate in Joppy, a SaaS company, is looking for a Java Tech Lead to join their team in Spain (remote work model).

The function of the Technical Leader has the following key areas of responsibility:

Work with internal and external business clients to understand their requirements and translate into value-generating technical solutions, estimating and analyzing scenarios, and convenience of our solutionsProperly use of project management skills to plan and coordinate teams of developers to fulfill the technical tasks within the project planProperly manage any departmental knowledge favoring the re-use of existing informationAdministrate the infrastructure development that will enhance the scalability of the organizationRefine and improve our product in developing quality service for our clientsProvide development services (if necessary) to end clients/partners according to existing proceduresHelps support team when requiredPerform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or TelecommunicationsDatabase Knowledge/experience, POS/Retail and/or business software applications related experience is a plus4+ Knowledge/experience in software development with the following technologies is a valuable plusJava Platform and/or all tiers of an enterprise web applicationProgramming concepts including MVC architectureSQL, PostgreSQL, and OracleUser Interface technologies: JavaScript and Indexed DBGood communication and presentation skills, used to working in a client settingExcellent written and oral communication skills in English is a must. French is a strong plusAnalytical thinking & detail-orientedProven ability to meet/exceed deadlines under pressure in a dynamic environmentInitiative, flexibility, and adaptabilityAvailability to travel as required for the success of the business
