Big Commerce Developer (Front-End or Full Stack)

Our client, a digital consulting partner, is looking to hire 2 Front-End and/or Full Stack Developers with prior experience with the BigCommerce platform and a strong emphasis on headless commerce and headless CMS experience.

The consultants will be customizing and integrating a BigCommerce based solution. The consultants will be developing and optimizing PWAs using React.js, Next.js, focusing on performance, scalability, and accessibility. The developers will be responsible for efficiently managing data and API integrations using GraphQL and REST. The consultants will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implementing design specification using React, SASS, SCSS, Tailwind, and/or theming frameworks, as necessary.

Required Skills

Proven project experience working with the BigCommerce platform Minimum 1 year of enterprise experience using Next.js (preferred) or React with Typescript Proven experience as a React.js developer with a focus on building react applications upon headless commerce platforms (Adobe Commerce, SAP Hybris CC, Big Commerce etc.) and able to integrate with separate CMS platforms such as Contentful, Bloomreach, etc. Proficiency in interfacing with services and APIs using REST and GraphQL. Experience building responsive web applications compatible with desktop, tablet, mobile, etc. Proficiency with HTML, CSS, styled components, Tailwind, and pre-processors (SASS, LESS). Experience with Stencil and Catalyst based BigCommerce builds Experience developing enterprise scale React Single Page Applications. Experience utilizing Redux and Node. Experience with Frontend build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, Grunt, etc.
