ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and deploy high-quality Ruby on Rails applications.Accuracy, stability, and adherence to best practices.Collaborate with team members through pairing sessions to enhance skills and code quality.Ensure the stability and performance of existing applications, providing support as needed.Engage in code reviews, technical strategy discussions, and system architecture planning to meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
QualificationsExperience: 7+ years (at least 3 years in the US)Tech Stack: Ruby, Rails, AWS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, UNIX/Linux, XML, SFTP.Enthusiasm and passion for building impactful solutions.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.Openness to sharing ideas and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Additional Skills:REST APIs: Knowledge of building and maintaining APIs in Ruby.Redis: A common in-memory data structure store.Sidekiq: A background job processing framework often used with Rails.GraphQL: May have experience with GraphQL, a query language for APIs.
