Middle Java Developer

About the role:As a Middle Java Developer with AWS experience, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. You will join a highly motivated team and will be working on a modern solution for our existing client. Responsibilities:Back-end development to meet customer’s business needs and implement components according to modern software development environmentTaking part in the decision-making process in application code design, solution development, code reviewDevelop and review feature design documents and provide inputs/update to specifications for the solutionDesign and implement a set of various types of tests (unit, integration, functional, etc)Proactive position in solution development, processes improvementsWorking in an international distributed team in an Agile environmentCommunicate with PMs, engineers, Architects, QA and other colleagues and stakeholdersDelivering the product roadmap and planningsTo use high coding standards, software best practices and write highly testable, automatable and performant code over the whole SDLC

Requirements:Experience in software development for more than 3 yearsExcellent knowledge in Computer Science, Computing Theory:Paradigm & Principles (OOP, SOLID)Database theory (RDBMS, NoSQL)Code testing practicesData structuresDesign PatternsUnderstanding of network interactions:protocols( TCP, UDP, HTTP, gRPC )conventions (e.g. REST, RPC, GraphQL )Excellent knowledge and experience in Java (more than 2 years)Practical commercial experience with:Web application frameworks (e.g. Spring Boot Framework, Micronaut) (more than 1 year)Testing frameworks (e.g. JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Test Containers) (more than 1 year)ORM (e.g. Hibernate) (more than 1 years)RDBMS (e.g MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) (more than 1 year)Version control systems (GIT)Cloud computing platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform)AWS experience (Aurora, Lambda”s, Step Functions, etc.)Containerisation ( e.g. Docker )CI/CDIntermediate EnglishKnowledge/Readiness to work with Kotlin
