Senior Web Developer

Job Title: Senior Web/HTML5 Developer (Immediate Joiner) Location: Remote

Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web/HTML5 Developer to join our team remotely. This role involves building and enhancing product features in close collaboration with our product and business teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with JavaScript and Typescript, and experience working with OTT streaming technologies.

Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with product and business teams to build and refine product features.Contribute to the feature roadmap for our Web/HWA ecosystem of devices.Advocate for and implement best coding practices and application development methodologies.Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to design and develop applications.Lead and execute proof-of-concept projects, scaling and integrating successful solutions.Focus on error handling, performance monitoring, and QoE (Quality of Experience) metrics.Provide guidance on design, coding, and operational best practices, proactively proposing improvements where needed.Utilize problem-solving skills to prevent and investigate production issues, participating in a shared on-call rotation.

What We're Looking For:4-6 years of experience in developing client-facing applications for Web/HTML5.Proficiency in JavaScript and Typescript.Experience with the Chromecast application framework (CAF) is highly desirable.Knowledge of open-source web players such as Shaka player, hls.js is a plus.Familiarity with media frameworks (gstreamer, OpenMAX), video codecs, streaming technologies (HLS/DASH), and Ad tech.Experience in building OTT streaming experiences is preferred.Ability to join immediately and work during the 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM shift.
