Job Title:ABAP CDS/RAP DeveloperLocation:RemoteEmployment Type:ContractExperience Level:3-7 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP development, especially with CDS and RAP models.Duration:3-6 months

Key Responsibilities:ABAP Development:Develop custom applications using ABAP within SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).Create business logic, enhance standard functionalities, and develop custom reports using ABAP.Core Data Services (CDS) Development:Design and implement CDS views for efficient data modeling in SAP S/4HANA.Build CDS annotations to enable OData services and create user-friendly, performant reports.Leverage CDS for defining semantic layers that integrate business data across applications.Restful Application Programming (RAP) Model:Develop cloud-ready and on-premise applications using SAP’s RAP framework.Build transactional and non-transactional services using RAP with Fiori and OData.Design RAP service implementations for handling complex business scenarios, ensuring high performance and scalability.Fiori Integration:Integrate CDS/RAP applications with SAP Fiori for creating modern, responsive user interfaces.Build and extend Fiori elements apps based on CDS/OData services.Performance Tuning and Optimization:Optimize CDS views and RAP services for performance and scalability.Analyze and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in ABAP code and database queries.Service Definition and API Development:Develop APIs and services using CDS views and RAP to expose data and functionalities for external systems.Ensure services adhere to modern security standards and integrate seamlessly with other SAP components.Collaboration with Functional Teams:Work closely with functional teams (e.g., FI, MM, SD) to gather requirements, design technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business processes.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end services with SAP Fiori applications.Testing and Documentation:Write unit tests for ABAP and CDS developments.Create technical documentation and user manuals for custom developments.Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality adheres to SAP development standards.
