AWS Cloud Developer

We are looking for a skilled AWS Cloud Developer who will build and maintain cloud environments to scale the shared service public cloud infrastructure. They will provide hands-on expertise and guidance as related to cloud infrastructure builds and configuration, and all aspects of platform engineering. This opportunity involves collaboration with the development team and will allow you to utilise your unique blend of technical and interpersonal expertises.

Specific ResponsibilitiesDesigning, developing and maintaining public cloud platform infrastructureAssist the team with Devops adoption through automationStrong knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github actionsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise Responsible for public cloud infrastructure in terms of non-functional requirements like security, availability and reliability Knowledge of cloud industry standards and best practice across infrastructure Proactively maintains a broad knowledge of cloud engineering trends and technology advancementsParticipating in code reviews, documentation and knowledge-sharing activities

SkillsStrong proficiency in AWS services Thorough understanding of MongoDBExperience in EC2, Load Balancing and Auto ScalingExperience in AWS Developer ToolsExperience deploying apps on Route 53 and CloudFrontKnowledge in VPC, subnets, Gateways and network security Knowledge in Cloud Monitoring SystemsKnowledge in Cloud Security (e.g. WAF, Cognito and IAM)Knowledge in RESTful APIs is a plusKnowledge in JavaScript is a plusKnowledge in React.js or Next.js and its core principles is a plusFamiliarity with JSON Web Token is a plusHave a Devops mindset Rough understanding of Cyber Security is a plus

Degree in Computer Science, or Software Engineering or equivalent or relevant experience in the area;Needs to speak and write in English;Interest in working in a Med-Tech startup environment
