Junior Backend Developer (PHP)

Job OverviewFirehouse247 is seeking a talented and experienced PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.Follow industry best practices and coding standards.Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with a strong portfolio of web applications.In-depth knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.Proficiency in version control systems like Git.Understanding of MVC design patterns.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
