Our leading Federal Integrator partner is looking for a motivated Junior -mid Web Developers to join their team and support an active government contract. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with Ruby and Jekyll, as well as modern frameworks and technologies like Angular, React, Svelte, and Node.js, to develop and enhance static websites and web applications.
Key Responsibilities:Jekyll Development: Assist in developing and maintaining static websites and blogs using Jekyll.Front-End Technologies: Gain experience in using Angular, React, and Svelte to build dynamic and responsive web applications.Custom Coding: Learn to implement features using Node.js and contribute to optimizing site performance.Design Implementation: Convert design mockups into responsive HTML/CSS with guidance.Collaboration: Work with designers, content creators, and other developers to help deliver high-quality web solutions.Troubleshooting: Help identify and resolve issues related to Jekyll sites and other web technologies.Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web development.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.1+ years of experience or relevant coursework in web development, particularly with static site generators like Jekyll.Basic knowledge of Ruby, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the Liquid templating language.Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Svelte is a plus.Basic understanding of Node.js and its use in web development.Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.Understanding of responsive design principles and performance optimization.Knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards is helpful.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with other CMS platforms or web development frameworks.Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
