Position Overview:The Web Developer and Designer will be responsible for managing, designing, and deploying websites for a diverse client base. This role includes all technical aspects of web development, such as site migration, domain management, troubleshooting, and implementing SEO best practices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both web development and design, ensuring websites are visually appealing, functional, and optimized for search engines.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Management & Development:Oversee all technical aspects of website management, including domain management, hosting setup, site migrations, and troubleshooting. Perform updates, maintenance, and enhancements to ensure optimal website performance and security.

Web Design & User Experience:Design and implement visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with client branding and business goals. Develop custom layouts, graphics, and interfaces to enhance user experience and engagement.

SEO-Focused Website Optimization:Collaborate with the SEO team to implement SEO best practices across all websites. Optimize URL structures, internal linking, and site architecture to improve search engine visibility and rankings. Maintain SEO silos for existing websites to enhance content relevance and keyword targeting.

Page Deployment & Custom Fields:Efficiently deploy landing and service pages, utilizing custom fields where necessary. Design and create unique, informative, and visually appealing service pages (typically 5 to 9 pages per service).

Content Management & Publishing:Manage the publishing of web pages, ensuring accurate and timely updates. Assist in mass deployment of landing and service pages using custom fields and templates.

Technical Troubleshooting & Support:Provide technical support and troubleshooting for website issues such as bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges. Ensure seamless integration of third-party tools and plugins.

Client Onboarding & Implementation:Manage the technical onboarding process for new clients, including website migrations, DNS setup, and technical audits. Implement and configure client-specific functionalities and integrations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience as a Web Developer and Designer, preferably in an agency setting. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and popular CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla). Proficiency in web design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Figma, or Sketch. Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices (site architecture, URL optimization, internal linking). Experience with custom fields, mass page deployment, and scalable web solutions. Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications:Experience with website migration, domain management, and DNS configuration. Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz. Knowledge of web performance optimization tools (e.g., GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights). Understanding of UX/UI design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
