One of Esteemed's agency clients is seeking a Front-End Drupal Developer for a contract role. This role is fully remote within the US, and must be a US Citizen, and able to pass a federal background check.
As a Drupal Front-End Engineer, you will focus on Drupal theming, primarily D9 and some D7, with a strong focus on accessibility.
Also required: US residence for 3 of the last 5 years as well as US citizenship.
Responsibilities
Skilled at building accessible and inclusive interfaces. Familiarity with Section 508, WCAG 2.1, ARIA, and digital accessibility best practices.Familiar with populating design systems and component-based development.Comfortable with CSS compiler workflows (e.g. LESS, SASS, SCSS).Able to draw on a detailed mental model of HTTP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript operations.Able to use Axe, Drush, and PHP debugging tools to speed up your work and enhance your code quality.Complementary/specialized skills such as QA, UX, design, and documentation are also a plus
Qualifications
At least 3+ years of Front-End development experience. Associate's degree or 5 years of experience.Skilled in Drupal Front-end development.Familiarity with the US Web Design Standards (USWDS) is a plus.Ability to navigate and understand how to use and troubleshoot Git.Not Required but Preferred: Acquia Certificate Program (Certified Site Builder, Developer or Front End Specialist, Web Accessibility Specialist).
