Shopify App Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Shopify Backend Developer with over 5 years of experience in developing, managing, and optimizing Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Shopify platform, a strong technical background, and a proven track record of delivering successful e-commerce projects.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain custom Shopify applications/Apps and integrations.Work with APIs to integrate third-party services and enhance store functionality.Optimize Shopify stores for performance, scalability, and security.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.Collaborate with front-end developers and designers to implement new features and enhancements.Create and manage complex data workflows, including importing and exporting data from Shopify.Provide technical guidance and support to clients and team members.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce trends.

Qualifications:Experience: At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify development.Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.Proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Ruby, PHP, or Node.js.Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and other API integration techniques.Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
