About The PositionWe’re looking for a hard working and ambitious Android Developer who has a ship-first mentality, gets stuff done, and isn’t afraid of accumulating technical debt if it means we can ship sooner and grow faster. You should be ready to work quickly, learn new tech as needed, and deal with the difficult challenges that will surely arise as we start our next marketing push and grow faster. Your work will have a major influence and direct impact on the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities:Maintain and develop new features for the Migaku Android appIntegrate and develop our Kotlin Multi-platform API which provides business logic to implement new featuresWork together with other team members on integration work for different platformsIntegrate and test new features directly in the downstream projects when applicableInteract with users to triage and fix issuesMaintain releases on the Play Store

Requirements:Implement pixel perfect versions of UI designs, and frame perfect and fluid animations3+ years professional experience as an Android developerExperience with using Compose to develop UI and with releasing apps on the Play StoreExtensive Kotlin experienceComfortable with integrating Webviews and working with Web technologiesEnthusiastic about learn new technologies as neededEffective at working remotely with an international team across various time zonesCan quickly become a product expert and learn about all features and functionality of the Migaku platform

Preferred Qualifications:Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) experienceWeb development experienceVue.js experienceiOS development experienceCan start immediatelyA deep interest in and experience learning foreign languagesIn a European or Asian time zone
