MODX developer

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain websites using MODX CMS. • Customize MODX templates and functionality to meet client requirements. • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize websites for performance and security. • Integrate third-party APIs and services with MODX. • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to deliver high-quality web solutions. • Implement SEO best practices in MODX-based sites. • Assist in server management and configuration (Apache, Nginx). • Provide technical support and maintenance for existing MODX projects.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with MODX CMS (2+ years preferred). • Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. • Experience with server-side technologies, especially Nginx and Apache. • Familiarity with SEO principles and implementing SEO best practices within MODX. • Experience working with MODX Cloud is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal). • Familiarity with MODX Revolution. • Knowledge of version control systems like Git. • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, React). • Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
