SQL Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The experienced SQL Developer is a member of the project team who takes responsibility for implementing parts of the system architecture using best practices in an agile development environment. This will include coding, unit testing, using design patterns, learning new technologies, and becoming an expert in one part of the system.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for design, development, and implementation of solutions using SQL and PL-SQL. •Strong verbal and written communication and shall be able to work directly with client and business to understand the domain/requirements. • Strong in DWH concepts and good understanding of modern analytics tools and processes. • Strong in SQL/ TSQL/PL/SQL, writing effective SQL codes and stored procedures. • Strong in DDL, DML, DCL operations • Strong in SQL query tuning and optimization • Preference to have worked on any of the ETL tool. • Willing to learn and work on any of the ETL tools on On-Prem or Cloud environment. • UP to date with feature on latest versions of SQL Server. • Understanding of Data Lake, ODS and Data Warehousing. • Experience in DBMS like SQL Server and knowledge of know-hows of the same and troubleshooting experience. • Develop new code and/or support operations, maintenance, and enhancements of existing code • Conduct multiple levels of testing including unit, system, integration and performance • Estimate and plan releases. • Understand the best practices and coding standards.

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree required from college or University with >65% Academic score Flexibility and mobility is required to deliver this role as there may be requirements to spend time onsite with our clients to enable delivery of the first class services we pride ourselves in.
