About the companyIncommon is hiring on behalf of a New York based fast-growing healthcare technology company dedicated to automating tedious administrative activities done by clinical staff in hospitals using AI. We are looking for an enthusiastic Full-cycle AE- to join our early team to drive strong pipeline creation to scale the impact. They have just raised $2.8mn in seed round from renowned global investors to grow the company to the next stage.

About the roleWe are looking for an enthusiastic founding engineer to join our early team to drive engineering initiatives to help reduce admin workload at hospitals.

Requirements- Designing and implementing new product features end-to-end- Testing new features and deploying them to production- Maintaining and improving our cloud infrastructure- Triaging issues that arise in production- Solving complex technical problems that will unlock massive customer value- Collaborating closely with co-founders (both-non technical) and senior engineering head to understand business requirements- Recruiting and training new engineers- Establishing our engineering culture and working norms

Some Technical Projects you would tackle:Re-architecting the Confido platform, especially workflow automation product for scaleDesigning robust backend architecture to quickly update, read and analyse customer data and perform specific operations based on that dataManaging a fleet of micro-services in our backend which handle specific features, providing value to the end user like payment, patient reach-outs, Electronic Health Record updates, patient data collection and analysisIntegrating with EHR, AI, IVR and data analytics productsDesigning, implementing and maintaining customer-facing APIsDesigning, implementing and operating a system that extracts information from electronic medical records for specific dashboarding, core GenAI product implementation etc.GenAI based prompt engineering for text and voice based interactions with patients, payers, medical providers, etcRobotic Process Automation development for data extraction and updation from/on electronic health record systems

What we are looking for:Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related discipline.Professional Background: A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing comprehensive full-stack solutions across multiple technology stacks, delivering user-friendly products with a significant user base.Leadership Role: Demonstrated success in a leadership position within a product-focused tech company, ideally exhibiting a growth-oriented mindset. Previous experience as a Technical Co-founder or in a senior leadership role at a major tech company is highly desirable.Team and Individual Excellence: Proven ability to perform exceptionally as an individual contributor, with a track record of building, managing, and nurturing high-performing teams while maintaining high talent standards.Technical Proficiency: Moderate expertise in contemporary AI technologies (including generative AI), machine learning models, data analytics, and the necessary infrastructure for deploying these models at scale.ML Systems Expertise: Moderate expertise in designing and implementing reliable and highly available AI/ML systems.Effective Communication: Ability to articulate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical stakeholders.Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, proactive, and a collaborative team player with strong persuasive and influential abilities.
