Full Stack LAMP Developer

About Us:Agolix is a growing SaaS company making our first developer hire. Our application helps coaches, consultants, and service providers scale their impact through online surveys and assessments with individualized score-based feedback. Agolix is built on MySQL, PHP, Laravel, and Vue.js. We deploy on AWS.We are looking for a mid-level generalist full stack developer to work closely with the technical founder to help maintain and enhance our current application, fix bugs, and assist in the development of new features, including UI design. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in the company’s growth.We are located in Durango, Colorado. Although the position is remote, the ideal candidate will be located in Western Colorado to facilitate in person meetings and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:Work closely with the technical founder to maintain and improve the current SaaS application. The candidate will be expected to contribute ideas and expertise to architecture and UI design.Communicate with the CEO and other team members as neededDevelop and implement new features using PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, and MySQL.Work with the AWS infrastructure (currently EC2 and RDS) and assist in implementing improvements.Debug and fix software defects.Work on UI/UX improvements and design updates.Manage code using Git and track tasks using Trello.

Qualifications3+ years of experience with full stack development in a production environment.Proficiency in PHP and the Laravel framework.Experience with front-end development using Vue.js or a similar reactive JavaScript framework.Solid understanding of MySQL databases.Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality software that is aligned with user needs and business goals.Strong communication skills both electronic and in person.Ability to communicate professionally and clearly with clients in EnglishExperience with Amazon Web Services

Compensation:Contract-to-Hire: $45 – $65 per hour during the contract period, with the potential for conversion to a full-time salary in the range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
