The Digital Services for Business Branch of client's CIO Division provides a range of enabling services and operations delivery to the Department.

The Applications Management & Support team is responsible for delivering web application projects and support. The team’s core work includes maintaining and upgrading a number of applications on SharePoint Online and on premises including the department’s intranet and Document Management System (DMS). The Team is working on a large-scale migration of the SharePoint 2016 based DMS to SharePoint Online.

As a SharePoint Developer, you will undertake activities that ensure systems meet the functional requirements of the users and stakeholders, meet performance thresholds and ensure sustainability into the future, while complying to DISR and industry principles, standards and best practice.

Specifically, you will be required to:

Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot SharePoint Online in line with security and change best practices.Migrate SharePoint on-prem sites to SharePoint Online.Create and contribute to design and security documentation for new solutions.Work with various technical teams to assist with implementing SharePoint components as part of complex solutions.Perform SharePoint site configuration, customisation and reporting.Participate in an Agile Team and assist in the development, deployment, management and troubleshooting of complex Solutions and associated and DevOps pipelines/repos.Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team including product owners, scrum masters, BAs, developers, architects and testers in accordance with stakeholder requirements and broader departmental objectives.Use a range of products to manage, maintain and develop the code base of systems.Effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholder, internal and external to the department.

Essential criteria

Experience developing solutions for SharePoint, including PowerShell scripting. Experience with React and/or Angular is highly desirable.Strong hands-on experience in SharePoint Online.Experience in using HTML5, CSS frameworks such as SASS and/or LESS, and JavaScript-based solutions including an understanding of single-page applications.Understanding and experience working with cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365 and Azure DevOps.The ability to perform, collaborate and deliver ICT solutions within an agile team.Good knowledge of development and security best practices when delivering ICT solutions.Desirable criteria

Experience building solutions using PowerAutomate.Strong experience developing solutions using .NET. Experience specifically in .NET Core will be looked at favorably.
