About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Developer with a strong background in building and optimizing analytics solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a 6-month remote contract position, where you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and scaling our data infrastructure and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow, ensuring efficient and reliable data movement and transformation. • Develop and implement scalable data solutions using BigQuery, optimizing for performance and cost efficiency. • Work closely with analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality analytics solutions. • Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end data analytics solutions leveraging Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, and others. • Implement best practices for data governance, data security, and data quality. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data pipelines, data storage, and analytics environments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize data solutions with existing systems and applications. • Monitor and optimize performance of data infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Google Cloud Developer or in a similar role with a focus on data and analytics solutions. • Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery for data warehousing, SQL query optimization, and data modeling. • Proficient in building and managing data pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow or Apache Beam. • Experience in developing and deploying data analytics solutions using various GCP services such as Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer, etc. • Experience with Python for data processing and pipeline development. • Understanding of best practices in data governance, data security, and data quality. • Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data migration. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or Cloud Developer certification. • Experience with Google cloud-based tools. • Experience with infrastructure automation on GCP.
