About this RoleWe are looking for a skilled RFID Application Developer to join our team remotely. The primary focus will be on backend integration and development for our RFID project, leveraging technologies such as Java, Spring, Kafka, and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:Backend Integration: Engage in 100% backend integration and development work, focusing on Kafka integration and implementation.Technical Design: Participate in daily standups and technical design meetings, contributing to the development of the COMET project's RFID components.Collaboration: Work closely with the team to integrate RFID technology with third-party APIs and services, primarily in a retail environment.Tech Stack: Utilize Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, Oracle Database, and Microsoft Azure to deliver robust solutions.

The Ideal CandidateMust-Have Skills:Experience: 3+ years in backend development, with experience in RFID projects in a retail environment.Technologies: Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, Azure (or GCP/AWS), and Oracle or SQL.Integration: Experience integrating with third-party vendors and handling backend systems.

Nice-to-Have Skills:TDD: Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.Retail RFID Experience: Prior experience with RFID projects at companies like Lululemon or Walmart.
