We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Optimization Algorithm Developer to join our R&D team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in optimization algorithm development, constraint programming, and tackling complex scheduling problems involving a high number of variables and constraints. You will work on challenging projects, develop innovative solutions, and contribute significantly to the advancement of our aviation systems.

Job Description:Develop and implement optimization algorithms for complex scheduling problems.Utilize constraint programming and hybrid algorithms (heuristics and CP) to solve large-scale optimization challenges.Work extensively with open-source solvers, including Google OR-Tools' CP-SAT solver.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, optimize, and implement algorithmic solutions.Innovate beyond existing literature to produce original solution suggestions.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within our systems and processes.Analyze optimization results and generate explainable optimization structures.

Skills & Qualifications:Minimum of 8 years of experience (or equivalent academic experience) in optimization algorithm development.At least 4 years of algorithm development experience using Java.Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with constraint programming.Proficiency with Google OR-Tools' CP-SAT solver and other open-source solvers.Proven experience in solving scheduling problems with a very high number of variables and constraints.Experience in developing hybrid algorithms that combine heuristics and constraint programming.Strong motivation to face and overcome challenges.Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to produce original solutions beyond existing literature.Strong communication skills.Self-organized and self-driven individual.

Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of local search methods and metaheuristics.Development experience with Python.Academic publications related to scheduling problems.
