Job Description:GovGPT is seeking a Senior Full Stack Apple iOS Developer to lead the development of a mobile application that interfaces with the Neighbor Mic™, enabling seamless recording, transcription, and location tracking of public comments from residents. This critical role involves building an iOS app that enhances citizen participation in government affairs, making their voices heard.

Key Responsibilities:iOS Application Development: Develop a robust and user-friendly iOS mobile application that pairs seamlessly with the Neighbor Mic™ to capture public comments.Bluetooth Integration: Implement the necessary Bluetooth connectivity features to ensure the app can communicate effectively with the Neighbor Mic™.Audio Recording: Enable the app to record short snippet comments when the Neighbor Mic™ is turned on with a switch, ensuring the automatic capture of public comments in audio form.Transcription Integration: Integrate external APIs such as Elevate AI to automatically transcribe recorded public comments, making them easily accessible and searchable.GPS Location Tracking: Implement GPS functionality to store the precise location of the user's device when recording public comments, providing context to the comments' origins.Data Segregation: Develop logic to segregate and categorize identified information, such as names and locations, into appropriate fields for easier analysis.User Experience: Ensure a seamless and intuitive user experience, with a focus on accessibility and user interface design.Security and Privacy: Implement robust security measures to protect user data and privacy, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing to identify and address bugs, glitches, and performance issues, ensuring a stable and reliable application.Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the developed application, including technical specifications and user guides.

Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) in iOS app development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.Expertise in Swift and Objective-C programming languages.Experience with Bluetooth integration in iOS apps.Proficiency in GPS and location-based services.Familiarity with audio recording and transcription APIs.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.Knowledge of best practices in mobile application development, including security and privacy considerations.

Preferred Skills:Experience with Firebase or other backend solutions for data storage.Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.Prior experience working on projects involving user-generated content and community engagement.
