Looking for a strong senior/lead level contractor that has experience with seniority of tech skills and Workday Development experience ideal.

Must have:Learning mindset: able to wear multiple hats, learn Workday and scale into a lead Developer role in the future.Java custom development SaaS development ( ex: workday, servicenow, salesforce, ADP, Sap successfactors HCM, Saas examples!)AWS

Job Description:As a Senior Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and enhancing our corporate applications, which include Workday and other custom-built solutions on AWS. We are looking for someone with strong backend development skills, preferably with full-stack and serverless experience, who can contribute to the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:Review and analyze complex system, process, and data requirements.Lead the design and development of complex software components, especially those built on AWS tech stack.Build, test, and deploy scalable solutions with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.Drive CI/CD and DevOps practices within the development team.Collaborate with cross-functional teams for peer reviews of code, specifications, and requirements.Provide mentorship to junior developers and assist with project-level tasks.Drive process improvements and champion collaborative problem-solving.Document development progress and communicate project metrics to stakeholders.

Must Have:Learning mindset: Capable of wearing multiple hats and scaling into a lead developer role.Proficiency in Java custom development and SaaS development (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow, Salesforce, ADP, SAP SuccessFactors HCM).Strong experience with AWS technologies and serverless architecture.

Bonus:Hands-on Workday development experience (e.g., Workday Studio, EIB, Prism, or Workday Extend).Experience with Workday integrations and advanced reporting.

Preferred Skills & Experience:Expertise in CI/CD and DevOps practices.Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and database technologies.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
