Job Overview:A MedTech business are looking for a skilled Database Developer to join a growing Product Development team. In this role, you will be play a huge part in server-side development and optimisation of data, including REST APIs for NHS and private medical systems.

Key Responsibilities:Working with databases and writing database code, PL/SQL in Oracle/Postgres or T-SQL in SQL Server.Understanding of SQL, DDL and DML.Server-side development and optimisation of data, including REST APIs written primarily in PL/SQL along with Lambda functions written in Node.js (if you don’t have experience with Node.js, then you will gain it in this role)Integrate with various 3rd party services, including NHS and private medical systems.Collaborate with front-end developers, aiding with how to use backend APIs and advising the most efficient way to interface with the backend.Good working knowledge of git.Various AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Lambda Functions, Cognito, CloudFront, RDS and EC2.

ExperienceAt least 2 years experience working with databases and writing database code, PL/SQL in Oracle/Postgres or T-SQL in SQL Server.Understanding of SQL, DDL and DML.Good working knowledge of git.Node.js is a bonusKnowledge of various AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, Lambda Functions, Cognito, CloudFront, RDS and EC2.Good working knowledge of git.
