Title: T-SQL and OLTP DeveloperWe are seeking an experienced T-SQL and OLTP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional database design and optimization, with expertise in writing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries for high-performance Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our database systems.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for OLTP systems.Collaborate with application developers, architects, and business analysts to understand system requirements and translate them into efficient database solutions.Design and maintain relational database structures, ensuring normalization and referential integrity in OLTP environments.Analyze and optimize existing database queries, improving performance and reducing resource consumption.Work on database tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization to enhance performance and scalability.Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to resolve bottlenecks.Ensure data integrity and consistency through the implementation of appropriate constraints, triggers, and validations.Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for OLTP databases.Collaborate in database security management and implement security measures to protect data and meet compliance standards.Stay current with emerging database technologies and best practices in OLTP systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Required Skills:T-SQL Development: Expertise in writing complex, high-performance T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.OLTP Systems Design: Strong understanding of OLTP database design principles, including normalization, referential integrity, and transactional integrity.Query Optimization & Performance Tuning: Experience in query optimization, index management, and database performance tuning techniques.Database Design & Architecture: Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain efficient and scalable relational database schemas for OLTP environments.Troubleshooting & Debugging: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve database performance issues and bugs.Indexing & Partitioning: Hands-on experience with indexing strategies, partitioning, and other techniques to optimize database performance.SQL Server: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and other relational database management systems (RDBMS).
